Welcome to Northern Skies Outfitters Canada. It's no secret anymore that Saskatchewan is THE place to be in Canada if you're looking for huge numbers of staging waterfowl.  The vast landscape coupled with endless strings of ducks and geese makes for a memory that will stick for a long time.

Whether you're interested in a fall duck and goose combo hunt, or a spring snow goose hunt, we will do everything possible to show you how good Saskatchewan waterfowl hunting can be.  All of our waterfowl hunts in Saskatchewan will be over Avian X/SX full-body decoys.  We use premium equipment because at the end of the day, why leave anything to chance with waterfowl?

We run 2 lodges in the fall, and one in the spring out of Saskatchewan.  We take the time and pay attention to detail to ensure you have a 1st class experience hunting waterfowl in Canada.

Our main hunting lodge in Saskatchewan, Canada, sits overlooking a major waterfowl sanctuary. The views from this beautiful Saskatchewan waterfowl lodge are amazing it's not unusual for the sanctuary to hold over 1,000,000 birds.

We have availability to almost 40,000 square miles  in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.  Not only that, but some of these areas, in our opinion, are some of the best for waterfowl hunting in Saskatchewan. We literally pretty much have it all here with ample amounts of snow geese, Canada geese, white fronts (speckle bellies), cranes, and ducks.  And at times, EXTREMELY large amounts of each!

We do try to provide the best hunting experience we can offer.  This includes meals, lodging, licenses, cleaning of your waterfowl, etc. on top of your waterfowl hunts. Just bring your shotgun and dress accordingly and we do all the rest!  We typically recommend you fly into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and rent your own vehicle. Our waterfowl hunting lodge is located a little over an hour away from the airport.

So come along with Northern Skies Outfitters Canada as we provide world-class duck and goose hunts in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The following is copied directly from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s website:

Licensing and Registration Requirements – Firearm owner and users in Canada need a valid firearms license allowing them to possess firearms and a Canadian registration certificate for each firearm in their possession. A license issued under Canada’s Firearms Act is different from a provincial hunting license. Declare firearms in writing, in triplicate, using the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration (form CAFC 909). DO NOT sign the form, as you must sign in front of a Canadian customs official. If there are more than three firearms, a Non-Resident Firearm Declaration Continuation Sheet (form CAFC 910) should be added. Once the declaration has been confirmed by the CBSA customs officer, it acts as a license for the owner and as a temporary registration certificate for the firearms brought to Canada. A confirmed declaration costs a flat fee of $25, regardless of the number of firearms listed on it. It is valid only for the person who signs it and only for those firearms listed on the declaration.

  • HOW DO I GO ABOUT IMPORTING OR BUYING AMMO INTO CANADA?

All ammunition is covered at our North Lodge of Saskatchewan.  In the South Lodge, you can purchase for $25/box up there.

Buying or Importing Ammunition – A confirmed Non-Resident Firearm Declaration will allow you to buy ammunition in Canada. As well, you may bring limited amounts into Canada with you.
